President's Message

Soroptimist International of Downtown Redding [“SIDR”] is a part of Soroptimist International, a worldwide organization with over 70,000 members in 121 countries committed to improving the lives of women and girls. Just in the past 10 years our local club has issued educational grants to women in Shasta County of over $50,000 through the “Live Your Dream” program, as well as the career mentoring program for high school aged girls “Dream It, Be It”. In addition to the educational grants we have also donated more than $50,000 towards local and international service projects.

I encourage anyone who has a heart to make a difference in our community, and across the world, to please join us at one of our meetings to learn more about Soroptimist.
